Alisha Fowler
Alisha Fowler was a part of Breakthrough's inaugural summer fellowship in 2008. After the fellowship, she began working with the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE). As an Educator and Program Developer, Alisha helped ACE launch its free in-school programs serving high schools across the Bay Area, and soon the country. In less than 2 years, Alisha helped educate 1 million high school students about climate science, and was promoted to the position of Marketing Manager to better engage students online. In her second year with ACE, Alisha was promoted to help advance ACE's national fundraising efforts. She helped raise more than $1 million for national programs through individual and institutional fundraising. A native of Bucks County, PA, Alisha graduated with a B.A. in geoscience and environmental studies from Hamilton College in 2006. Alisha is now in Cambridge, MA, and eager to connect with other fellows and professionals in the environmental arena.
