Caroline Breakthrough's is Government Affairs Manager for Food & Agriculture. She joined Breakthrough as a food and agriculture analyst in 2019 after receiving her Master of Public Policy degree from U.C. Berkeley’s Goldman School. At the Goldman School, she focused on environmental and food policy and completed several policy analysis projects for nonprofit organizations. She also worked as a graduate student instructor in economics courses and completed an internship at the San Francisco Human Services Agency.
While earning her BA at Hamilton College, Caroline majored in Comparative Literature and minored in Environmental Studies and German Studies, and after graduating, she completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship at a high school in Germany. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys going to concerts, trying to keep the plants in her herb garden alive, and taking part in a wide array of outdoor activities.
