David McGrath

David McGrath is an Associate Scientist at Woods Hole Research Center. His current research focuses on community forestry and sustainable livelihoods along Brazil's Tapajos River. His interests range from smallholder settlement, community forestry and development of forest co-management systems to the evolution of conservation policy for Amazon development. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his B.A. from Harvard University.
