Juzel is a climate and energy analyst at Breakthrough. Originally from Jamaica, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Howard University. As a student, she explored various fields through different avenues such as astrophysics research, software development, and machine learning training. She was also a fellow of the 2020 Summer Institute of Sustainability and Energy (SISE) where she finally got a real-world taste of environmental studies by meeting with multiple leaders in the energy industry as well as other students who shared the same drive for making a positive impact in this world.

In her free time, she enjoys writing, studying different languages, exploring the Bay Area, and watching too much YouTube.
