Mel Guymon is currently Vice President of Search Product Management at Yahoo. Before that, he spent 8 years at Google working with both the Search and Google.org teams. A former nuclear submarine officer, he led a research process at Google to explore the expansion of nuclear energy in the developing world, including South Africa and Asia. Guymon is an expert on the economics of nuclear energy, next generation nuclear technology designs, public policy, and financing.
